Legislation would have increased fines for blocking public access
Republicans in the Montana State Legislature's House Judiciary Committee today killed a bill to protect public access to public lands by increasing fines for gating public roads and other public rights of way.
In the Thursday Oct 3, 2016 edition of the Helena Independent Record, the IR reported that the Bozeman Chronicle has criticized Greg Gianforte for running ads featuring the Bozeman Chronicle logo and misrepresenting the Chronicle.
In the past, Gianforte has been criticized by Google Corporation for attributing statements to Google that they did not make.
