Helena – Even as patient and provider groups continue to come out in opposition to the dangerous health care bill being pushed in Washington right now, Insurance Commissioner Matt Rosendale continues his failed leadership on health care.
Despite being the state insurance commissioner, Rosendale hasn’t weighed in on the Graham-Cassidy bill, which would have a tremendous impact on, you know, health insurance in the state.
Among other things, this bill would:
- Raise rates and kick hardworking folks off their plan
- End subsidies and tax credits that help working Americans
- Put older Americans at risk
- Shutter rural hospitals
- Allow states to roll back protections for pre-existing conditions, coverage of essential health benefits, and requirements that insurers spend money on actual care.
